January
Annual planning: Plan priorities and projects for the coming year.     fonr

Orchard pruning: Prepare fruit trees for upcoming season.     fonr
Plan material deliveries: Order plants, mulch, compost, corn gluten, and any other needed materials.     fonr
April: first half
Grass rehabilitation: Aerate soil near pathways. Loosen soil and overseed where needed.     fonr
Graffiti removal: Identify any new marks and get them removed.     wc
April: second half
Irrigation: Turn on water and set up hoses, water bags, etc. Make plans for watering any new plantings or drought-stressed plants.     wc
Spring clean-up: Remove all trash. Rake the gravel path, all grass on the orchard level, and along the fenceline. Rake and clean up the Arcola entrance.     fonr
Weeding: Weed blueberries, fragrant sumac, yellowroot, and ferns, berry patches, all shrubs, orchard trees and Arcola and Jefferson entrances.     fonr
Mulching: Mulch orchard trees, blueberries, yellowroot, and all shrubs.     fonr
